Hawg Fest 2008 September 12th 13th and 14th Official Rules

1) There are no boundaries except for you must fish within the Rogue River. It is the responsibility of all participants to make it back to the official weigh in site ( To be determined) before 4:00 P.m. on Saturday the 13th of September and 1:00p.m. on Sunday the 14th of September 2)All minors under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a Parents/ Guardian/s at all times while fishing the tournament, this means on the same boat) 3)All entrants must abide by all State of Oregon Laws and possess a current Oregon state fishing license; All fish are to be taken by legal fishing methods 4)All entrants must use a watercraft. NO BANK FISHING. 5)Any person accompanying a paying participant must be entered in the derby or that team is disqualified. 6)Target fish will be King Salmon will win the tournament, largest Coho will win a prize but not the tournament. 7)The heaviest fish by weight will determine the winner, In the event of a tie - the most total inches in length of said fish will determine the winner. 8)All measurements are final. There will be NO re-weighs , Fish that are snagged, foul hooked, gaff, frozen or gill net marks will be disqualified. 9)Awards presentation will follow weigh-in on Sunday, Sept. 14th, 2008. 10)Any people conducting themselves in a disorderly or intoxicated manner will be disqualified and expelled from the tournament, and denied re-entry to future tournaments. We want to make sure Salmon Trout and Steelhead.com remains in good standing. 11)All water craft must comply with Coast Guard standards of equipment and safety. 12)Failure to comply with any of the above said rules will result in entrant's disqualification. Tournament official's (STS.com Pro Staff) decisions are final. 13)This tournament will not be canceled or rescheduled due to weather conditions. I the understand that fishing presents hazards at anytime weather. 14)All questionable fish will be subject to inspection . 15)All entries must be post marked by August 15th please send a check or money order for $25.00 to Hawg Fest 2008 16) No Professional licensed Guides with paid clients can enter, all guides entering will be reviewed . 17)The tournament will officially begin for fishing at legal fishing time per Oregon State law on Saturday Sept. 13th 2008.
